Super Sky Point to Davey Lopes, who had a big role in my formative years as a baseball fan. As with many other stars of the era, I pretended I was him in Wiffle Ball games and gleefully pulled his 3-D cards from boxes of Frosted Flakes. A multi-faceted, winning ballplayer. #RIP

The Dodgers mourn the loss of Davey Lopes, who passed away today at age 80. Lopes was a member of the team’s record-setting infield of the 1970s and 1980s and one of the finest basestealers in MLB history. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
