@MattGajtka Yeah, this team's depth is crazy. Highest scoring team of the Crosby Era but our leader has 74 points. Tough team to pinpoint who you're locking down. 2020 was our last truly great chance to win one. Coming back from the layoff for a 3 game series in July/August was brutal.

@MattGajtka Could they go all the way? Yes. Do I want that? Of course. With Sid & Co's age we don't have a lot of seasons to burn on the rise. Pens have to win the first round. After that you can't have high demands on results. Just cheering and being a fan. At least that's how I feel.

@JFreshHockey The roster JR left when he quit the Pens was underrated. First place team. They were fast and he added a lot of young depth after the Cups (McCann, Marino, Matheson, Pettersson, Gaudreau, Rodrigues, etc.). Tanev and Zucker good adds. Hextall tore it down for some reason.

According to @MattSteinbrink, former Panther Ronald Ramon is joining Jeff Capel's coaching staff. Ramon was the assistant director of basketball ops at Pitt six years ago and was most recently on the bench at Iona.

@catfish9er @DavidJ_Cole @ThePhilliesPod Crosby missed 2 seasons worth of games over 3 yrs during the peak of his powers after winning the Cup in 2009. Pens possibly win another Cup or more. Huge loss for him, Penguins, and all hockey fans, but it's hard to look back on his career as a missed opportunity due to injury.
