Utah will absolutely sell their soul to take the only potential superstar who’s ever wanted to be in Salt Lake. Trade back and take DP (who might still be the best player) at 2. George is probably untouchable, so Ace Bailey would be nice. A FRP or 2 would be mandatory. Another name would be gravy.

@WeAreAllShack Nats are caught between marketing to the transient population of the city (who can actually regularly attend) and the real fans who live in the outskirts of the city where it’s less convenient to come to games and don’t. Nats park is for transplanted casuals who need an activity.

You can have decent attendance in baseball if you just market & sell a vibe (the rockies) but the nats don’t do that. They limit promo codes, the prices of tickets, concessions & parking keep going up and their “happy hour” is a joke the way they operate is so fascinating

Everything a hitter does inside the batters box plays a role in what motor tracts he’ll use to hit…. Motor tract 1 creates the best spacing for a hitter….Motor tract 5 creates the worst. When Kyle Schwarber taps the plate and LIFTS THE BAT to his left hand and lets it rest on his chest he hits with the muscles of motor tract 1 on both sides of his body…. When Kyle Schwarber taps the plate, THEN TWIRLS THE BAT BEFORE ADDING HIS LEFT HAND, he hits with the muscle of motor tract 5 on the right side of his body…. You can see the “spacing get locked into place” as soon as the 2nd hand is added.
