Sometimes things I worked really hard for don't work out, & that's okay. It was not meant for me. Things will look up & get better.

It has been such a long day. I am absolutely exhausted. My kids are my greatest blessings. #gottarepeatthat

I didn't do my weekly cleaning today. Instead, I improved & organized my office area. I'm proud of it. Also had a game night with new friends. Tomorrow will be clean up day. If I move quickly enough, I should be finished within a few hours.

Next week I start training for my new role. It looks like I'll likely still have some shifts as my current one, as well, which I don't mind. I think almost everyone does.

Yesterday I received a msg about a role I interviewed for in June but didn't get. Another role on the team opened up & they thought of me, so I interviewed again today. I was offered the position! It didn't come when I asked for it, but came when I needed it. (Same company.) 😁

@CarlaJShepherd1 She is doing really well. She finished her antibiotic course & is almost finished with the steroid regimen. She'll be blind either way, but I'm hoping to avoid surgery.

Update on Princess: the vet decided to wait another week with her eyelid stitched close. There's no sign of infection, but the swelling behind the eye itself right now would mean it WOULD come out. She is hopeful maybe another week will save it. Otherwise, surgery is Mon.

@Make_It_Right With 20K I would likely be able to buy a used mobile home in nicer shape that what mine currently is. Or replace the walls, wiring, floors, roof, bathrooms, plumbing... it would probably be better to get a nicer used one.
