I come from a Java backend, moving into Kotlin, ObjC, C#, Swift and eventually Typescript.
Typing all the way.
Never liked JS, Ruby etc.
This recent iteration of the debate have me questioning my choices though.
Maybe my next project should be pure JS?

It's crazy that Spotify doesn't have a webhook to know when a song has changed. We just gotta keep hitting that API until we get rate-limited
