@wieldwright @ibnDeseretii @KaiSchwemmer No that’s not going to help when the group of people who are acting uncivilized are the outliers people start noticing and that is happening and helping But if now we act uncivilized then everyone is and the whole culture degrades

Lech Walesa mobilized 12 million Polish workers because he actually organized & empowered them, & in so doing exposed the communists as frauds You can't break the regime's legitimacy with criticism alone - you have to create a credible alternative blog.exitgroup.us/p/we-have-to-p…

Black people will routinely film themselves breaking the law and don’t get charged but when a White man defends himself against a violent black he’s charged with attempted murder

For everyone yelling into the internety abyss: My job is to report the facts as accurately and fairly as possible. Bailey legally changed both name and sex designation under state law. The term transgender identifies someone who transitioned from one sex to another. Reporting that information is about accuracy and consistency with official records, not opinion.

Who is the primary driving force to pass legislation requiring "Age Verification in Operating Systems" in Canada? Porn companies. Seriously. Specifically "Ethical Capital Partners", a $400 Million+ per year Porn mega firm, run by the Italian-Canadian, Rocco Meliambro. Right now, in Canada, bill S-209 is working its way through the system (passing 3rd reading in the Senate, and now in the House of Commons). And porn companies do NOT like S-209. Why? Because S-209 would not only require Age Verification for accessing Porn websites... this law would put the majority of the responsibility ON the Porn website companies themselves. Rocco Meliambro's Canadian Porn empire doesn't want to deal with that (potentially massive) financial and legal burden. Meliambro's proposed solution is to move the burden of Age Verification away from Porn websites... and put it entirely on the Operating System developers. If Windows, macOS, Android, & Linux (etc.) are all forced to implement and manage Age Verification... that let's the Porn Websites almost completely off the hook! Interestingly this is the exact same reason why Facebook / Meta is lobbying for Operating System level Age Verification laws in the USA. That's right. Two of the most aggressive advocates for Age Verification in Operating Systems... are Facebook and Canadian Porn websites. The S-209 details: parl.ca/legisinfo/en/b… The Ethical Capital Partners brief: ourcommons.ca/Content/Commit…

You mean like the SAVE Act, or mass deportations, or the gay marriage ban in California, or segregation in Alabama, or the repeal of Fair Housing in California and Ohio, or Colorado's amendment permitting LGBT discrimination, or the denial of benefits to illegals in California, or the Oklahoma sharia ban, or Arizona requiring proof of citizenship to vote, or Arizona requiring official business to be done in English, or Nebraska's ban on corporate farming, or the thirty states that ratified constitutional gay marriage bans before obergefell

@GWHayduke97 Alternatively, one can simply stop using all of this garbage. If your web app isn’t accessible from the browser and requires me to install an app on my phone, it’s not a web app. It’s spyware.

Using the internet in 2026, a vignette: > go to website, enter username and password "Please confirm your phone number so we can send it a verification code". > enter phone number > receive code > enter code "We've sent a code to your account's email address. Please enter that code to continue." > go to email > get code > enter code "Welcome to SomeWebsite! Our experience is better on the app. Would you like to download the app?" > X out > scroll down a ways to the thing you are looking for "SomeWebsite is better on the app. Please download the app to continue." > press X The website scrolls you back to the top > scroll down again Same message. You realize that accessing this, and most other functionality, is gated behind the app for you even though the website itself has this functionality too. > go to app store > search SomeWebsite > download app > open app "Welcome to SomeWebsite's app! To properly operate, this app needs permissions for your location, contacts, bodily fluids, and firstborn son. Please click below to go to settings and enable these permissions." > click button, go to settings > enable all sorts of permissions > go back to app > enter username and password "We've sent a code to your account's phone number. Please enter that code to continue." > get code > enter code "Thank you for logging in! Would you like to use passkeys instead? You can use Touch ID, facial recognition, or a retina scan." > no, I'm not gonna do biometrics "SomeWebsite would like to send you push notifications. Do you accept?" > no And now you can FINALLY do the thing you wanted to do.

for universities, they should be barred from hiring ANY foreign workers until they've offered the job to every single graduate of the job's respective field of study. after all, they've gotten paid to ensure that they're qualified, right?

This isn’t a “talent shortage.” It’s corporate America choosing cheaper imported labor over our own kids graduating from Utah universities. Utah’s Silicon Slopes now has over 3,871 open H-1B sponsorship jobs, mostly on-site in Salt Lake City. University of Utah leads the pack, with major employers like Adobe, Qualtrics, and Intermountain Health regularly sponsoring foreign workers. Utahns built this tech corridor. Our graduates deserve first crack at these high-paying software engineering, healthcare, and life sciences roles, not to train their own replacements while wages stagnate and housing costs soar. As your next Congressman for CD3, I’ll fight to pause new H-1B visas until the fraud ends, require proof no qualified American is available, and put Utah workers first. Utah First means American workers first.

Why is this job not posted in University of Utah’s applicant tracking system so Utahns can easily find it and apply for it? 🤔 Is it being held for an H1-B visa holder? Do you think Congress should ban universities from using H1-Bs if they receive any federal funding? I searched “software design engineer” on employment.utah.edu, it shows 27 jobs. The top result? A Graphic Designer. This specific position (the one in the Tribune ad) requires mailing a CV to a physical address or emailing jenn.bourdon@hsc.utah.edu. Is it deliberately hidden from the normal online system Utahns actually use? They can’t find qualified American grads from their own programs? Or is this slot being saved for an H-1B visa holder? Transparency matters. Utahns deserve a fair shot at these jobs. What do you think, @UofUtah?

University of Utah is running ads in the Salt Lake Tribune for paper mail applications only for a software engineer in Salt Lake City Really, they can't find any American grads of their own programs with 2 years experience for these jobs?

@ibnDeseretii @Jamal8969 @TysonMoll America hasn’t existed for that long man. Stop it. That’s just BS. Before they were English or German or whatever. Being white doesn’t make you American more than anyone else. That story about being 99% Anglo Saxon is actually hilariously stupid & factually inaccurate.
