@Peter_Baugh The current playoff format makes the 82 grind a bit irrelevant. How do you finish in the top 4 in your conference and still open on the road. That's the biggest issue I have.

Because of the current playoff format, two of the top three teams in the West will automatically be eliminated before the Western Conference Final. I fail to see the reason for it.
