Meanwhile, there is a place called Orania a white-only separatist town in South Africa's Northern Cape province founded in 1991, where Black South Africans cannot go.
No energy for them though.

@Yutaisposting I used to like this anime but fell out of love with it
English

@samloveswydad @4k_isn it's a demonstration. No one is playing that. Why are you fighting it?
English

@wildechap @4k_isn I think it’s inneficiebt and not worth the announcement as a software engineer myself im not dropping snippets of a broken project

@samloveswydad @4k_isn why are you people like this? Just think a little bit.

@IguessAlan @Lim3xo @kilo00774 @TheGalox_ My only grievance is not that Samsung has it or not, but it was only about how usefull it truely is. But i guess i get it, since you say the macro mode itself is not as good.
English

@wildechap @Lim3xo @kilo00774 @TheGalox_ Yeah except that macro mode is kinda blegh in comparison, and if you have any strong source of light you end up nearly always completely blocking it with your phone unless you change the angle at which point you might not be able to even frame it properly anyway
English

@IguessAlan @Lim3xo @kilo00774 @TheGalox_ but in my humble opinion, i don't think it's that usefull to focus so much closer on a smartphone, especially knowing there is a macro mode availabale.
English

@IguessAlan @Lim3xo @kilo00774 @TheGalox_ i mean, it only matters in how useful it is. Not just because others have it, so it should too. Generally to focus closer, the lens needs to be farther from the sensor. Idk if that is the case here but maybe the phone is just that much slimer, again idk if it's the case here.
English

@MyDaebakCafe @zan9494 @ThePhoneFuel He is not completely wrong, lenses tend to be sharper in the middle and that generally clears when you stop the aperture down.
I'm not sure if that is what is happening here but you should consider that.
English

@zan9494 @ThePhoneFuel Leave deities out of this topic! I have access to all the models in the photo and the one in the center still has the best!
English

@IguessAlan @Lim3xo @kilo00774 @TheGalox_ but what do you use a lower minimum focusing distance for?
You still got a macro lens on there, a medium tele for portraits too.
On fixed lens cameras, or 1 lens phone it's understandable, but for a phone with many others sensor/lens combinations, how does it matter?
English

@Lim3xo @kilo00774 @TheGalox_ Id rather have the lower minimum focus distance ngl. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra had an f2.5 L shaped periscope with a 30cm minimum focus distance using a sensor of the same size 3 years ago, it's not like you can't get a better aperture with it

@PasTPourChien @Treyv0n__ @d0nut2x i did not enjoy it as thought i would either. And i'm not a hater either. I ended up giving up.

The 17e uses a midclass BOE display at bulk and a $30 display panel from Samsung Display and LG. It's an 8 Bit LTPS OLED, Samsung S26 series is disappointing but let's stop with the lies.
Apple Snob 😝@AppleSnob_
And, another reason why the iPhone 17e isn’t a bad deal at all! The iPhone 17e has a 10 bit display and it’s a budget iPhone. 🤔 #Apple #iPhone #iOS #technology #iPhone17 #iPhone17Pro #iPhone17ProMax

People: The smartphone market is boring, there's no innovation.
Samsung launched the S26 Ultra with:
🔵 World's first smartphone to have a built-in privacy display with full customization.
🔵 One of the first smartphones to adopt Agentic AI capabilities at the OS level.
🔵 World's first smartphone to launch with APV codec, Android's alternative to ProRes LOG.
🔵 World's first smartphone to have RAW portrait (Virtual Aperture) on all lenses.
🔵 World's first smartphone to have f/1.4 aperture while being less than 8mm thin (Captures 11.3% more light than the Oppo Find X9 Pro, 21.9% more than the Vivo X300 Pro, 46.2% more than the Pixel 10 Pro, and almost 60% more than the iPhone 17 Pro).
🔵 One of the only smartphones in the market to have Super Steady's Horizontal Lock in videography to keep your videos level, even if you rotate a full 360 degrees.
Also, the same people: I'm gonna do 500 posts within a day on how they all are either useless or not good, or simply ignore anything positive about Samsung!
Most tech enthusiasts are simply brand loyalists. They couldn't care less about tech or the progress of tech 🤷🏻♂️
