I’m very worried that a red jersey with a yellow C might end up being awful. We have been lucky with mostly stellar jerseys in Calgary, but idk, the colour combo seems odd. Guess it depends how they use them.

@nitwitschool @PuckReportNHL ya that's fair. There seems to be a lot of Anti-Thompson stuff in the league. I thought it was just team Canada but maybe it's larger than that. Maybe the league just thinks he's a jerk or smth :). Maybe no COL goalies cause they split duties? Agree its weird

@will32469 @PuckReportNHL I'm not saying it's the be-all, end-all stat, but objectively for whatever reason the vezina winner has usually been 1 or 2 in the league in GSAA for the past 35 years. So it's out of the norm for them not to give Thompson or Wellwood at least a finalist nod.

@bestofStarTrek Honestly as a massive TNG and DS9 fan, I agree with most that S1 was bad and S2 borderline unwatchable. But I don’t like S3 either. The nostalgia stuff was nice to see the gang back together but I just don’t think it was well written.

The Flames nuking the right side of their blue-line in a sellers market, accumulating a critical mass of picks, and weakening their roster to enter the Landon DuPont tank battle next year is great work. They’re a massive trade deadline winner, I think.

Something to consider in an Utah Acquiring Naz deal is they have the rangers and Ottawa’s 2nd round picks this year on top of their own. I wonder if the #Flames would consider going after a lot of their 2nds instead of just one 1st
