Here’s the thing, y’all.
If Democrats actually cared about disenfranchising voters in their states, they’d make voter IDs free in their states (just a citizenship marker to it).
But they don’t actually care about that.
They wanted to give DLs to illegals, and per the 1993 Voter Registration Act, that’s really the only documentation needed to register to vote in federal elections.
The SAVE Act amends the current law to say “since illegals have DLs, we need to ensure only citizens are registering to vote.”
So, not a poll tax. It’s just common sense voting control.

@Muaddibisme @BasedMikeLee It's not a poll tax at all You need your BC and SS card for other things in your life. Yes, if you lose them (or your ID/DL), you need to pay for another copy of them. That's not a poll tax in any way. Voter ID isn't the only concern. Verifying citizenship is
