Example: we just accept that Mikey Lewis would only stay at Hull KR and never go to Leigh, but why if the money was attractive enough. Therefore Hull KR raise his contract then 1/2

@TonyScotson @J3364399340278 @johnnyddavidson Yeah but I assume you allowed this due to having Armstrong coming in. I just think the cap is used poorly in the Super league, it’s more like how FFP in football weakens the smaller sides. Rather than levelling the playing field like the NRL.

That freed up cap space but by that time most good players are fixed up for this year. Rather than buy someone straight away, Leigh have waited until a decent player became available 1/2

@johnnyddavidson Dine on the scraps as usual. Would rather see an ambitious bid to try and lure away some English talent from the bigger clubs. Much like how we have seen the Panthers team dismantled over the years as this is how the cap is meant to work.

@willdmspencer There's always a number of players that become available after the NRL season starts, in March and April, that NRL clubs don't want and get offloaded to Super League.
