@JoeGoodberry What are your thoughts on his answer regarding the scouting department in which he basically explains that he likes to keep it small for collaboration purposes instead of beefing it up to be comparable to other teams in NFL?

My biggest issues with Duke's answers He is aware of the shortcomings, takes blame and wants to fix them. Great! HOW do you fix them? He offered no solutions and mostly said "we've done it before, so we can do it again" and "other teams have these issues too." That inconsistency is a large part of the issue. You guys are all over the map with decisions and when you can't identify the causes and potential solutions, you'll continue to be inconsistent. And yes, other teams have these issues, and when they do, people get fired and they start over.

@KelseyLConway Duke, The Bengals are widely known in the NFL of have the least amount of scouts and player personnel in the league. What disadvantages does this pose when evaluating players? Is there any talk of hiring more people to get closer to league average in this department?
