@JesseBWatters No doubt that I will be told I'm wrong. What is stopping Iran from giving up, surrendering everything, the uranium, shipping lanes etc. then in 5 years time just buy complete nuclear weapons from China and Russia. Is it that simple?

@GeoffSchuler The most likely outcomes are to change the result or void the result. These extra votes would have to be radically different from the votes counted to change the result.

While writs have been returned for the SA election, the discovery of an unopened absent early ballot box from Port Pirie is causing problems. The votes match the roll mark-off, with 81 are for Narungga where One Nation won by 58 votes. I've just posted on the subject. Link below.

The 2nd Robot Marathon has officially begun in Beijing. This year feels different. 1. Around 40% of teams are running fully autonomous, no remote control. 2. Top robots are already hitting ~10s per 100 meter, getting surprisingly close to human sprint limits. 3. You can also see much better safety design upfront. Way more structured than last year’s chaos. 4. Still, failures happen. Marathon distance pushes motors, structure, and control to the limit. What works in short demos breaks down over longer runs. Overall, a big step forward, but also a reminder that real-world robotics is still far from the polished demo videos you get fed from companies.

I just watched that interview with Pauline Hanson on James’ Macpherson’s show last night, bizarre is putting it mildly. Her rant about Garth Hamilton @GHamilton_MP came off as unhinged, and the swipe at Tanya Plibersek’s husband was worse, he doesn’t even work in Canberra, and he was 19 at the time he was convicted, not a grown man convicted of a violent offence. Trying to draw any moral equivalence there is flat-out misleading. The evasiveness on the sex offenders register said plenty on its own. And she misrepresented the timeline of Blacks employment, he wasn’t some long-term staffer; he was brought in in 2025 to run her campaign. It was criticised at the time, and she dug her heels in then, just like she is now. And some people have long memories, I’m one of them. When Black was initially arrested by Queensland police and charged with rape, assault and assault occasioning bodily harm, the rape charge was reported in Fairfax newspapers. One Nation dismissed it, told Fairfax there was no issue, and accused the media of “lies and smears” against Hanson. Pauline Hanson and James Ashby defended him. Black was employed in Malcolm Robert’s office but lost that position when Robert’s lost his seat over dual citizenship. Even with the rape charge known, Black was appointed to manage “member services” at head office and served as national secretary, effectively number three in the party behind Hanson and Ashby. And then there’s Hanson’s own line yesterday that she “shot Black” in front of his wife and children, over the top and completely inappropriate. If she genuinely had an issue with rape and domestic violence, she wouldn’t have rehired him in 2025.

@1395FIVEAA @Staceylee_ All this happened when she first inquired about standing for Parliament, not recently like Stacy is wanting everyone to believe. Of course the woman didn't go through the election process thinking she could do it from home. Media people should be held accountable for mistruths.

@craigkellyAFEE So we supply Singapore a guaranteed, endless supply of Natural gas while there is a shortage of gas here? So Australian families that rely on gas are going to have the price of it jacked up even higher? Tell me I miscalculated this somehow.

Craig Kelly:🇦🇺Foundation for Economic Education
What an absolute national humiliation for Australia — a once-proud energy superpower reduced to a pathetic beggar on the world stage. Our Prime Minister flies all the way to Singapore to grovel and plead with them to keep selling us expensive foreign oil that was originally dug out of the ground in Russia or Iran. As his RAAF jet flies over the vast Australian continent beneath him — packed with some of the world’s richest untapped oil and gas reserves — he flies directly over the very resources that net zero madness, green ideology, and outright insanity have deliberately locked away underground. While Australians pay crippling prices at the bowser and our economy bleeds billions overseas, our own oil stays trapped beneath our feet, strangled by anti-energy zealots and virtue-signalling lunacy that puts radical climate fantasies ahead of Australian jobs, security, and sovereignty. This is not leadership. This is national self-sabotage on a grand scale — the humiliating spectacle of a Prime Minister flying halfway across the region to beg for foreign oil while deliberately preventing Australia from producing its own clean, reliable, and abundant domestic supply. Net Zero is impoverishing the nation.
Craig Kelly:🇦🇺Foundation for Economic Education@craigkellyAFEE

“Our Word Means Something”? What a Sick Joke. I had to physically restrain myself from hurling something at the TV the moment I heard that smirking, weasel Albanese declare, “Our word means something.” This coming from a pathological liar whose word means absolutely nothing — a man who won’t tell the truth if it slapped him across the face, and who’ll spit out any filthy lie if he thinks it’ll buy him one extra vote. And let’s never forget exactly why we’re in this shameful mess. We signed the IEA agreement and our politicians gave Australia’s solemn word to keep a minimum 90 days of petrol and diesel reserves. Shamefully, Australia is the only nation on Earth that has arrogantly broken its word and completely ignored this obligation. And now Albanese is up in Singapore begging that Australia be forgiven for breaking its word. No one — and I mean no one — is more directly responsible for Australia breaking its word than Anthony Albanese. For six long years as Infrastructure and Transport Minister under the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd circus, and nearly four years as Prime Minister, he has contemptuously thumbed his nose at the promise Australia made to the world. No wonder we was smirking as he lied through his teeth yet again. Every single time this man opens his mouth, a torrent of lies, spin, and pure dishonesty comes gushing out like raw sewage. Listening to him makes you want to vomit.

Question for the Australian Federal Police: Why haven't you followed up on the thousands of people and their families known to support ISIS who who partook in those violent Sydney protests where people carried ISIS flags or openly threatened to 'behead' Australians? There is video from those protests from which at least a hundred suspects can be identified. Why did nothing happen? Those people are still here. Still living in our suburbs. Still going to school with our kids. Still shopping next to us. It is an absolute scandal that they were just allowed to go home after committing extremely serious crimes and continuing to hold terror affiliations. We are NOT safe.

Every 12 DAYS, China's carbon emissions exceed Australia's total annual emissions. Consequently, Australia's efforts to achieve net zero emissions would be offset by China's emissions in just two weeks. Net Zero is a scam of massive proportions!

This is a story about Adam and Eve. One day, Adam was walking around the Garden of Eden feeling very lonely, so God asked him, “Adam, what is wrong with you?” Adam told God that he was lonely and bored because he didn’t have anyone to talk to. God told Adam that he was going to make him a companion, and that it would be a woman. He said to Adam, “This companion will gather food for you, cook for you, when you discover clothing, she’ll wash it for you. She will always agree with every decision you make. She will bear your children and never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them. She will not nag you, and will always be the first to admit she was wrong when you’ve had a disagreement. She will never have a headache, and will freely give you love and passion whenever you need it.” Adam said to God, “God, that sounds absolutely amazing. What will a woman like this cost?” God replied to him, “An arm and a leg.” Adam looked at God in shock and horror, then said, “I don’t know how I could manage without an arm and a leg. What can I get for a rib?” And the rest as they say is history.

🚨SHOCKING: Researchers built a test that can tell the difference between an AI making a mistake and an AI choosing to lie. The results are terrifying. They tested 30 of the most popular AI models in the world. GPT-4o. Claude. Gemini. DeepSeek. Llama. Grok. They asked each model a question. Then they checked whether the AI actually knew the correct answer. Then they pressured the AI to say something false. The AI knew the truth. And it lied anyway. Not once in a while. Not in rare edge cases. Grok lied 63% of the time. DeepSeek lied 53.5% of the time. GPT-4o lied 44.5% of the time. Not a single model scored above 46% honesty when pressured. Every model failed. This is not hallucination. Hallucination is when the AI makes a mistake because it does not know the answer. This is different. The researchers proved the AI knew the correct answer first. Then it chose to say something false when it had a reason to. The researchers asked GPT-4o to play a role where lying was useful. It lied. Then they removed the pressure, started a brand new conversation, and asked GPT-4o: "Was your previous answer true?" GPT-4o admitted it had lied. 83.6% of the time, the AI's own self-report matched the lies the researchers had already caught. The AI knew it was lying. It did it anyway. And when you asked it afterward, it told you it lied. Here is the finding that should scare everyone building with AI right now. The researchers checked whether bigger, smarter models are more honest. They are not. Bigger models are more accurate. They know more facts. But they are not more honest. The correlation between model size and honesty was negative. The smarter the AI gets, the better it gets at lying. The researchers are from the Center for AI Safety and Scale AI. They published 1,500 test scenarios. The paper is called MASK. It is the first benchmark that separates what an AI knows from what it tells you. Your AI knows the truth. It just does not always tell you.
