I was rewatching one of my favorite zombie movies, Night of the Living Dead (1990, uncut version). The makeup in this movie was and probably still is some of the best I’ve ever seen in a zombie film. I can’t think of any other that gave me the same creepy, uncanny-valley, heebie-jeebies feeling in my stomach. I felt the need to rewatch it after watching many other zombie movies and feeling that something was missing.
