That’s only 40,000 bags of 50 kg, each costing at the prevailing price of GH¢350 per bag, the total cost is approximately GH¢14 million, or $1.27 million USD. This is basic, not a major achievement worth chest-thumping. Where is the $21.19 billion from ORAL you said we could retrieve? That was the real game-changer you promised, far bigger than this small consignment. Stop the hype and deliver on the big recoveries. You are now clutching at straws.

As part of my nationwide working visit to some agricultural sites, I visited the Ekyi Amanfrom irrigation site at Afram Plains. A new scheme under construction by Ghana Irrigation Development Authority to allow all-year-round irrigated farming. The site is equipped with a number of electric powered Centre-pivot irrigation equipments to irrigate over 250ha of agriculture land. The project is about 75% complete. This hold a useful potential for upscaling the production of tomatoes to augment This move forms part of the President John Dramani Mahama’s vision to promote commercial agriculture, in order to fix supply chain uncertainties in the agro-value chain that militates against agro-industrialization. #MahamaThePresident #ResettingAgriculture

I have been inspecting the Mepe-Battor-Sege road which is currently under construction. This 31.20km road project expected to be completed next year is one of numerous infrastructure projects ongoing in my beloved North Tongu and adjoining constituencies.
