@DEMHA000 @heavyspoilers I hate twitter cause yall say shit like this and don’t even know what it mean. A petulant child has no basis to their tantrums due to being a CHILD. This man’s films have grossed billions for WB and he made THE DARK KNIGHT. WB should suck his dick every morning

@dazedlewis Convinced that line was actually to us, the audience, bc you’d have to watch it again at least once more to get a feel for what the hell you just watched

Some updates on the creator rev share program:
1. Soliciting engagements (“I’ll follow everyone who replies”) 3 or more times will results in removal from the program and your account will be forwarded to the policy team for suspension. Grok now catches all of these.
Nearly 4000 accounts were removed from the program today.
2. Our new model now detects duplicated content at 3x the rate of the previous model. Adding watermarks, intros and other edits will send monetized impressions to the original uploader. This also includes copying viral text posts (most common one: “Twitter is like the smoking section of the internet”).
We detected 1.5 million posts that were stolen this cycle. Repeated or intentional circumvention will lead to removal from the program.
With these changes, over $1 million will be given back to original content creators.

I did an interview with a rep at Arri and he told me they did a study - nobody from about row 4 back could tell the difference between HD and 4K. Towards every back you could get away with SD.
I’m a front row guy and I’ve definitely noticed some lacklustre bitrates lately for DCP’s.
I noticed it for Supergirl in IMAX. It’s why I love IMAX 70MM so much. Looks good from every seat.

A projectionist posted the file size for the 4K IMAX version of The Odyssey, and it's only 143GB. Maybe it's a misprint that it's showing 4K? It has to be right? If this was a 2K DCP then I think the data rates are about right, but this only puts the final bit-rate at around 110 Mbps, which is not enough for JPEG2000. From my understanding cinemas use jpeg2000 and need significantly higher bit-rates because they only use i-frames, which basically means it's the maximum data per frame.
Do you think some showings could see visible artifacts, or is this just a simple misprint, and it should be for the 2KDCP?
