What’s up y’all, Will here. I recently came upon @FragChad 's great post about their internship and journey though crypto. As someone who is going through a comparable journey, I'd like to share my story in a similar fashion as well! As the new intern at Neutral Trade (@TradeNeutral), I’d like to share my beginnings, my start at NT and my excitement at what we’re building :)! Two years ago I began my crypto journey. This started as one would normally expect; buying L1 tokens on CEX, learning about the apps built on these ecosystems, finding out about DeFi and experimenting with it myself. DeFi became one of my strongest convictions! I began with utilizing lending markets, then providing liquidity for swaps, there was always something new and innovative on the horizon. During the later of this period in December of 2024, I found out about Neutral Trade. I learned about their experienced team, coming from TradFi and DeFi backgrounds, and their strategic vault offerings. At the time these were delta neutral strategies, asset focused strategies, trader PnL directional betting strategies and a few others. There was something available for everyone! Throughout the beginnings of my journey using NT (until even now), they’ve launched new strategies at an exciting pace. These strategies being available to anyone to utilize, requiring only a small minimum deposit. This is unlike what is available in TradFi, these offerings often requiring a large minimum deposit. During this journey I came to the conclusion that Neutral Trade had an extremely focused team, built and shipped frequently and had succeeded in democratizing these types of products! Having an ever expanding excellent suite of products and being focused on the community drew me to them. Lucky as I am now, I’ve been able to join their team as their ENG intern! During the course of this period I have been working in crafting us a great community along with the other exceptional NT team members. While the NT team continues to build, ship and grow, I’ll remain steadfast in my commitment to the community! Let’s build something great together, for everyone! -Intern Will

@jussy_world @kamino Crazy times. Looping strategies are not a good idea with these borrowing APYs, on the other hand I don't really want to deposit my stables into these vaults when I can't get them out.

Because of the recent hacks @kamino markets hit 100% utilization Main market $165M borrowed out of $171M available Multiple vaults are sitting above 95% utilization with very thin liquidity left That's why APYs doubled overnight from 4-5% to 10-12% Crazy times...

Main change is the use of API calls to verify collaterals, instead of reading UI data and manually tally - website data sometimes not up-to-date. So now it's overcollateralised about 170%; but having said that, Maple's enforcement on collaterals is via legal means and not smart contracts like Morpho or Aave.
