And recognize the intrinsic plurality of intuitions and beliefs about death that are met (or not) during NRP. Accepting this plurality opens the door for a choice-based policy about pursuing NRP: a fair and egalitarian option for patients to choose it for themselves.

We clarify different uses of the term "psychedelic" in reference to the "classic psychedelics" (i.e. psilocybin, LSD, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT), or more expansively including MDMA, ketamine and ibogaine, and their known AEs in clinical trials.
