@bigsnugga There are countless examples of old and disabled people surviving in hostile environments in prehistoric times, despite the immense cost.
It turns out that for 99% of human history, seeing someone suffering was a worse pain than you missing out on some stuff.
English

@bigsnugga There’s quite a famous quote about how the first sign of civilisation is a healed femur and it’s true.
The rightoid will think “NUH UH IT’S EPIC FLAGS AND BIG ARMIES” not realising they only existed because people cared for their neighbours even when it meant a personal loss.

if communism is such a failure why do you need 350 billion dollars to stop it
Headquarters@HQNewsNow
Mike Johnson says that the Pentagon is requesting an additional $350,000,000,000 for things like "fighting Communism on our own shores"

@kickingmustang @pokedstudiouk @MerrynSW Then obviously we have to differentiate the difference between land rent and the property rent, which is where the drawback of LTV comes in.
English

@kickingmustang @pokedstudiouk @MerrynSW So, just to confirm my understanding of LVT is correct:
If the owner of unimproved land build something and rented that out, that rent wouldn’t be taxed? Thus the only value of the land is in improvement potential, not in the actual holding of the land itself.

@HowlingToad Their nationalism is based off their hatred for the English.
They hate us because they ain’t us.

Why does seemingly every ardent Celtic nationalist choose to live in England
It's like how every woman posting "kill all white men" invariably has a white boyfriend

I keep seeing people say “England is worse historically but Argentina is worse now” but for as long as my country is still under British occupation I really don’t give a fuck

@AliceFromQueens @RadishHarmers @gork is this the same tweet yes or no
@gork can you explain why someone might ask questions in a debate? Is it just understanding or are there other reasons?
@gork roast then epic style
English

@bigsnugga “Alienation from labour makes people sad”
“Profit accumulation means there is less money going back into the system”
“A job is more than just a job and has social impacts”
Like yeah, most people who’ve worked a job could tell you this. Marx’s conclusion wasn’t that ridiculous.
English

@bigsnugga Even if you got rid of all of Marxs’ writing, completely rewrote history to get rid of any mention of communism, someone else would come up with the idea. A lot of his philosophy is observation. The conclusion he draws from his philosophy is not a huge stretch.

@matt__okc @LeBolshevikman This is why the West is in decline. ca. Reagen/Thatcher, the balance the West struck between collectivism and individualism was was binned off in favour of individualism.
Now you have people refusing to limit their AC usage so the grid keeps working.
English

@matt__okc @LeBolshevikman There’s a reason very few high profile leftist spies were paid. There’s a reason almost all high profile rightist spies were paid.
Individualism is at odds with doing something for a cause. “Why should _I_ risk my own position to do something that is an expected loss?”
English

Why are you still calling yourself after a nazi poem when all you do is bounce on jewish dick, do you think Hitler had a more dignified death by blowing his brains out in a bunker?

@sethhow26816330 @IbeatAbsolt Your life will hold less meaning that his. You will die a meaningless death and be forgotten in a generation. You can call him a gay dog; it doesn’t change this fact.

It fascinates me that these people think that going down fighting until your literal last breath is humiliating

This is shocking. At an EU Foreign Affairs Committee meeting, Lynn Boylan lamented that it was “a pity we can’t use our own language.” When it was pointed out that she could, in fact, speak Irish, she backtracked almost instantly: "I wasn’t prepared, so I’ll use English."
