@Freddy717263 @TicsVitsJacThic @Penropennies A zillion of those tackles have been made since 1908 it’s only in recent times they are penalised and have been given the name of hip drop, it seems near impossible to make a tackle now when the attacker has gone past the defender, maybe speed of game and fatigue… unsure tbh 🤷🏼‍♂️

@willo132 @TicsVitsJacThic @Penropennies Someone in the game needs to look at why these sort of dangerous tackles are on the increase. What alternative method of effecting the tackle exists in that situation? Is the speed of the game a factor?
