AlhamduliLlah, I graduated from the University of Lagos today. After six long years studying a four-year course. (Slight dig at ASUU here lol) .My journey here was epic. The University of Lagos was where I rediscovered myself, and it set me on the path where, by Allah's grace, I know only greatness lies at the end. It was Unilag that Cardano found me after years of toiling in the Blockchain space. This single event led to some of the wildest and greatest transformations of my life. Amongst which was me becoming one of the delegates at the Cardano Constitutional Convention, in Kenya & Argentina in December 2024, and me being bootstrapped as one of the first committee members at. @IntersectMBO Growth & Marketing Committee amongst others. Without @UnilagNigeria, all these — most likely — would not have been possible. Thank you very much for everything. Bi idhniLlah, I am excited to see what lies ahead. I will do my best to continue living up to the legacy in deed and in truth.

Ramadan has just concluded, and I’ve emerged as a changed person. Fasting wasn’t just about abstaining from food; it was about depriving my ego, curbing my desires, and discovering that true strength lies in quiet persistence and unassuming power. In the solitude of hunger, I found clarity. In restraint, I found control. In prayer, I found peace. O Allah, please don’t let me lose the insights I gained during this Ramadan. May this experience not be a fleeting moment, but a transformative journey. Eid Mubarak 🤍

@TheSoburMS “La’alakum tattaqun; so you may attain piety” Allah is very deliberate with his words. The hunger or thirst is not the real test. It is the discipline and steadfastness that leads to piety; That is the main point of fasting Ramadan.

Most people (including many Muslims) still don’t get the concept of Ramadan fasting at all… at all o. The funniest thing is that “hunger (food abstinence) is the least of all the constraints and restraints that come with Ramadan. 1. The first most obvious and strenuous struggle is thirst. You’d think 13+ hours of thirst is a joke until you embark on it. And this isn’t even about the oral craving of liquid alone, but the extreme physiological demand for fluid. Easiest way to dehydration, headaches, dizziness, and generalized fatigue. 2. There are tons of other restrictions, especially abstinence from every form of distractive pleasure. Naturally, you would feel like playing games, listening to music, watching movies, and all should help you while away time. Unfortunately, there are strong restrictions against these things for Muslims fasting Ramadan. In fact, if we were upright enough, no fasting Muslim should staying online scrolling and wasting their Ajr (reward) and time while fasting. Now, imagine being extremely dehydrated, bored and fatigued, yet you have to restrict from every form of rewardless activities for 13+ hours. 3. Fasting Ramadan is useless without keeping all other pillars of faith. While fasting, no matter how tired you get, you must pray your five daily Salah at the right time. You are also expected to engage in a lot of rewarding activities like Nawaafil, charity, Tilaawah, Adhkaar… Imagine you’re reciting the Quran with a dried throat, dehydrated body, weary eyes and heavy head. 4. Fasting Ramadan is not an excuse for idleness. If you have an active job or business, you are expected to actively participate in your means of livelihood. Now, you’re dehydrated, fatigued, bored, and have to show up to work in the sun or under stressful conditions. 5. Fasting Ramadan is COMPULSORY on every adult, sane, healthy Muslim (except some excluded groups) without any compromise. Meaning, for 30 days consecutively, you have to rinse and repeat. No excuses. No voluntary breaks. 6. Ramadan is not just food abstinence during the day. It is also the observance of Taraaweh at late night, early rising before dawn for Tahajjud and Suhoor, keeping abstinent during the day, keeping steadfast in worship throughout the month. You MUST observe all these for 29/30 CONSECUTIVE days without compromise. Even if you managed to endure a single day of all these, come back after 30 days of such steadfastness and repeat that Ramadan is just you “skipping lunch”. 7. Finally, the Quran already tipped us off: the kuffs will never agree with us, and we are very okay with it. If you still find this lenient and cheap compared to your own religion fasts… Alhamdulillah, and congratulations to us — our own Lord and Creator doesn’t ask for more, and we appreciate His mercy and benevolence on us (for giving us an easy way), and we will keep striving ONLY for His mercy, and not your validations. Alhamdulillahi Robbi l-‘Aalameen. 🤲❤️😎 Eid Mubarak in advance, Muslim Ummah. 🎁🎊

Cardano is now the most decentralized blockchain! A "ghost town" is not a good model for success, as it can never change the world Without scalability, we cannot make any real positive impact Balancing our values with utility is how we truly support the cypherpunk cause! 🔥

Lol. You only say this about Christians who become Muslims, but never when the reverse happens. I wasn’t a churchgoer. I was President of the Teens Fellowship. I preached in church for the first time when I was 13 during Teens Week. I used to participate in Bible Quiz competitions, and when I won, my score was often higher than the scores of the other participants combined. I was a campus fellowship pastor and later became the pastor of a youth church, yet I still reverted. I read the Bible from beginning to end four times. Even now, over a year later, when I engage in apologetic discussions with Christians, they still say, “Oh, you weren’t a true Christian, you were just going to church,” to evade the questions I ask. Yet my mastery of the Bible is still far more solid than theirs.

Mind you,A CHRISTIAN will never ever convert or marry outside his or her faith! While a church goer might, but a CHRISTIAN will not. Who is a Christian? Btw,I don’t see any issue here. 🙂

If you’re not rich and you’ve never had the opportunity to sit with the rich, don’t let anybody whine you. Men are simple beings. Regardless of financial worth, we talk about the same things - football, women, politics, life, life as a man. There is nothing supernatural about the conversation. Even if they talk about business, na broke you broke, you’re not stupid. Don’t let anybody whine you because they are trying to gatekeep everything with classism.
