A man I have a lot of time for, really bought into the club and the fans and totally ‘got it’.
Unfortunately this time around, his management spell really hasn’t worked out. A lot of that should be pointed at the players though.

A word on Peter Leven, who has taken a lot of unnecessary abuse, with some particularly baseless stuff about his coaching work under past managers. He did well 2 years ago in similarly perilous circs, the club rolling that dice again was always a risk. Thanks for stepping up.

One thing he does say that I really really like is he said you need to play a system that suits the players. Far too many managers are set on a system, you should have an identity that is adaptable across ‘formations’

As much as I’m not convinced, if he does succeed the club will succeed so you just got to back him.

You could’ve started a front 3 in behind the striker of Gueye, McGrath and Morris last season. Three players capable of just doing ‘something’ from nothing. We failed to replace any of them and seriously paying the price now.
