We heard concerns that Antigravity consumes many tokens for simple tasks now. So, we're adding Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low) as a way to optimize token usage for these tasks. In our internal testing, it generates around 45% fewer tokens than Gemini 3.5 Flash (Medium) and generally outperforms Gemini 3 Flash (High) on SWE tasks. We've also gone ahead and reset Gemini quota across all paid plans to make sure you have all the tokens needed to build for the next week 🙂

I moved harunstudio.com from WordPress to Astro.js. The results: • 8x faster load time (4.96s → 0.626s) • 75% smaller transfer size • Hosting cost: $10/month (VPS) → $ 0 (Cloudflare Pages) Here's exactly how I did it 👇 harunstudio.com/en/blog/harun-…

@dipakcgajjar It’s mostly hosting and server stack, not caching plugins. PHP version, database performance, and infrastructure matter way more than people think.

Most think WordPress speed comes from caching plugins. It doesn't. Half of sites run outdated PHP, but 8.4 is 20% faster with 21% more WooCommerce orders per second.

@willya_rnd Such a site built with Gutenberg would result in a similar score on PageSpeed Insights.

Every “leaving WordPress” post I come across seems to point to Astro. But when I dig a little deeper, I often don’t see any prior conversations or context showing those people were actually using WordPress in the first place. To me, it starts to feel less organic and more like a coordinated narrative almost like a well-planned negative campaign against WordPress. It even makes me wonder whether some companies might be incentivizing this kind of messaging for their own business gains. I could be wrong, but that’s honestly the impression I’ve been getting.

A lot of people asked what replaced WordPress. Here’s our full low-cost agency website stack: 1. Astro for the website @astrodotbuild 2. Tailwind for styling 3. Cloudflare for speed @Cloudflare 4. GitHub for version control 5. AI agents for content, QA, fixes and SEO checks 6. Plunk for sending email running on @coolifyio 7. Purelymail for email host ($10per year) 8. VS code with Opus 4.7 and GPT 5.5 9. Hermes on Discord 10. Payload CMS running on Coolify @payloadcms No Elementor No plugin chain No bloat No maintenance No manual work Controlling all from Telegram on my mac mini

After 15 years working with WordPress, we finally moved our own agency website away from it. Old setup: WordPress + Elementor + plugins New setup: Astro + Tailwind CSS + clean static architecture The difference is massive: - faster loading - cleaner code - less maintenance - better Core Web Vitals - no plugin bloat - no Elementor drag - AI controlled This is the standard now. If your business website feels slow, bloated, or impossible to improve, it probably doesn’t need another plugin. It needs a rebuild.

Many designers are building great websites with Framer. I’m taking a slightly different route: fast, clean business websites built with Astro. Less bloat, better performance, cleaner technical foundations, and more flexibility for long-term growth.

Just sold GlazeLab.app It started as a small weekend-style micro SaaS: a browser-based screenshot beautifier for content creators. Not a huge exit, but still a meaningful milestone for me. Built it, launched it, got the first sale, then sold it. On to the next one.

We finished this landing page for a SaaS company. Still not sure whether the dark or light version looks better.
