A return to decent southerly steer saw some of my favourite little maritime bangers getting up again tonight. New updrafts were catching me off guard there for a while and lofting bolts out of frame, though thankfully I managed to nab a couple keepers eventually ⚡️ #StormHour

Fun little chase down around Adelaide River this afternoon targeting a bit of multi cell cluster that ended up lobbing a bunch of bolts during golden hour, one of which exploded a tree no more than 200 metres away from us. Got back in the car at this point 🫢😂 #TopEnd #Darwin

I'd say it's been a reasonable storm season for #Darwin and the #TopEnd so far. We've managed to find something interesting to point a camera at most days. Outlooks appear to suggest this should continue for the foreseeable future. I won't complain 🤣 #Australia #lightning
