The Washington Nationals are hiring Simon Matthews to be the team’s pitching coach, sources tell me and @Jake_Mintz. Matthews, who’s been with the Cincinnati Reds since 2021, had been serving as the team’s assistant pitching coach.

Source: Dallas Baptist has officially signed the paperwork to join the Pac-12 in baseball starting July 1 of 2026, and the first season is spring of 2027. DBU is in CUSA right now in baseball.
