DOM is my least talked, most used tools in intraday trading.
Despite that there are no direct "signals" that I derive from it that are acted upon in isolation.
Regardless information from it adds greatly to a trade thesis and odds. As well as order placement, execution.

@Dynamo_Patrick its the $mstr effect, engineering keeping btc on balance sheet to raise money to buy more btc. Various companies stacking btc means btc demand is not the same as crypto demand anymore. Ironically, bnb and meme coins have consistent buying mechanism that eth and sol lack.

ETH/BTC isn't only explained by ETH losing market share to SOL either.
(ETH Mcap + SOL Mcap)/BTC Mcap is down only too.
The market overestimated either:
1) The value of smart contracts relative to a decentralized store of value.
OR
2) The rate of smart contract adoption.

@_Checkmatey_ tokenomics became inflationary. even the pectra upgrade moves people to pay less fees. Efficiency is not cascaded as needed, efficiency is balanced for some future need, not current needs. usage moved on to l2 or sol because effort was not put in for sub 0 second confirmations.

Unfortunately don't think eth pectra upgrade improves ethbtc price. Till eth doesn't see higher burn and convexity kicks in, price won't improve. Pectra should further reduce burn rate in fact as more l2 use blobs.
(ETH easily goes down as my worst trade.)

@htltimor 78k (high volume) and 81k wick (not as high volume - test?) eaten up. Could this not be wyckoff accumulation phase C? Im not that good with wyckoff and don't want to make errors out of hopium, so asking. (I thought wyckoff distribution meant lower highs, not higher lows)

macro bias still says we go down / chop for a bit more after 1-2 weeks. focus on volume. high volume + green candle or high volume + red candle will show where we are this week.

Selling the Bitcoin top and shorting 107k was possible and it has been done.

Trading volumes have been trending down for $BTC since peaking in November.
Lower volumes usually mean that $BTC stays rangebound for longer. Patience will be key until something triggers the next wave of buyers.
