Since yesterday we are in @cityofheraklion for the final meeting of the project. What an emotion! Really inspiring to exchange on the positive impacts @winpol_EU already had on our territories and on the promotion of smart technologies and processes in #waste management.

European @winpol_EU project, led by @EMULSAGijon with @interregeurope funding, is holding its last meeting next week in Heraklion with a summary of good practices developed by partners from Crete, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia, Malta and Romania about new techs in waste management.

And that's a wrap! Thank you to all our speakers, and participants (in Brussels and online). @winpol_EU is not yet over, we still have 6 months to continue implementing our Action Plans and bring #innovation in #waste management a step further!

The core elements are nonetheless the same: finance the exchange of experience across Europe and involve policymakers. With @winpol_EU we can't agree more on the necessity and usefulness of such programmes!

WINPOL is only one of the many projects supported by @interregeurope. Our pleasure to close the day by giving the floor to Jason Martinez from @interregeurope Joint Secretariat not only to hear good words about successful outcomes of WINPOL but also to know more on upcoming call.

First call is closing in a couple of days but another one, longer, should follow.... and interesting novelty: it will be possible to do pilots from the beginning!
