- Wake up at 8 am - Sit in traffic - File TPS reports - Chat with Michael and Samir, complain about the printer - Lunch at Chotchkie’s, flirt with the waitress - Duck out early to avoid Lumbergh - Go back to apartment - Watch TV with programming notes from neighbor Lawrence

>wake up at 6am >drive 45 min in traffic >spend all day on virtual calls >buy a $20 slop bowl >spend final 5 hours pretending to work >go for a walk around the retention pond and hope to see a turtle or duck >plan which dates you’ll use your 12 PTO days >tell coworkers you’re living the dream >repeat until 65

𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐤 '𝐞𝐦 𝐮𝐩. 🇺🇸 Junior defensive lineman Conner McDonald and senior linebacker Keenan Tyler earned spots on the 2025 @d3football All-America Team, as announced by the organization earlier today. McDonald (Congerville, Ill./Eureka) secured his first career All-America honor after a breakout junior campaign anchoring the Wartburg defensive front. He posted career highs in solo tackles (24), total tackles (43), tackles for loss (13), and sacks (7). McDonald's 13 tackles for loss tied teammate Jake Walker for the team lead and helped power one of the nation's top statistical defenses. He was also recognized as a First Team All-Conference selection this season. Tyler (Decorah, Iowa/Decorah) completed an All-America sweep across all three major publications, earning Second Team honors from D3football.com in addition to First Team recognition from both the American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) and the Associated Press (AP). Both McDonald and Tyler were previously named First Team All-Region selections by D3football.com on Dec. 10. The honors mark the fourth consecutive season in which at least two Knights have been selected as D3football.com All-Americans. 🔗: bit.ly/3Y8KYvy #GoKnights x @WartburgFB

Jeff Thorne was my mentor and friend. He was a leader on the field, a builder of character, and a source of inspiration for everyone who wore the Cardinal uniform and the coaches who worked by his side. His passion for the game and his commitment to developing All-American teammates, husbands, and fathers will endure as part of his remarkable legacy at North Central. I am thankful for the precious time I and our entire team had with him this fall for his Hall of Fame induction, our “Refuse to Lose: Cardinals for a Cure” game dedicated in his honor, and his Friday night pregame message to our team. He lived his life as a faithful servant and devoted man of Christ. I am comforted knowing that he is now resting in the presence of our Savior. My deepest condolences to Jeff’s wife, Joanna, and their beautiful family, his siblings, and his parents, all of whom are forever part of the Cardinal football family. The Cardinals will carry Jeff’s relentless “Refuse to Lose” spirit into every snap, every game, and every season. #WeAreNC
