𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.🏆 For the 22nd consecutive year, Wartburg College claimed the Combined All-Sports Championship Trophy, awarded to the conference's top overall athletic program, announced by the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) today. The Knights also captured their 15th Triple Crown, highlighted by Wartburg’s 20th Marjorie Giles Women’s All-Sports Trophy and 27th Elmer Hertel Men’s All-Sports Trophy, while totaling 12 combined conference championships on the year. 𝐓𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞📚 Senior linebacker Keenan Tyler was named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® team, as announced Tuesday by the organization. Tyler earned Second-Team Academic All-America recognition, becoming the 34th football student-athlete and the 141st overall student-athlete in Wartburg College history to receive the honor. A native of Decorah, Iowa, Tyler posted a 3.60 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Keenan Tyler will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration on Jan. 27, 2026. The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
