@GovMurphy Instead of picking sides and posting on social media, which creates even more divide, a better response would have been reaching out behind the scenes to find a resolution to the differences that were on display.

I’m doing a day of pizza in NY/NJ area next week. Are there any must hits that I haven’t done yet and need to try?

I’m on the scene of the I-80 sinkholes with @GovMurphy and @CongressmanKean. The entire interstate is shut down here. State troopers say they’ve never seen anything like this. @NewJerseyDOT is taking the lead, but @USDOT is here to partner with them and provide critical assistance to get this economic artery back up and running. This is not political, it’s about making sure the American people are taken care of.

This is @MikeTyson’s legendary coach and mentor, Cus D’Amato. In this clip he gives a short masterclass on the power of fear: Here are some of my favorite takeaways: ▪️Nature gave us fear in order to survive. ▪️Fear is our best friend. ▪️Fear, like fire, must be controlled. Once it gets out of control, it can destroy everything around. But if you can control it, you can make it work for you. ▪️The fighter who can control his fear can control his function in a manner far over and beyond anything he was capable of before. ▪️Fear helps us survive. ▪️”When we are faced with a situation where we feel that danger is present, the process that nature gave us to survive comes to the surface. And if we don’t panic, if we maintain discipline and control over the fear, we can use it to not only survive but to give us continued success that will give us the confidence to overcome anything.”

Day 1: Start a journal and write about whatever is on your mind. Use journaling as an opportunity to track your emotions, set short- and long-term goals, or as an outlet to express frustrations. #AASPChallenge2023 #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

The mental performance side of the game is years behind the physical performance end. Sports psychology is too often seen as corrective instead of constructive. Mental skills and training could be the difference between good and great. #BreatheAndGrind

Don’t get so caught up in where you WANT to be that you forget to make the most of where you are today. Instead of complaining about where you are, dominate it. That’s how you’ll get to where you want to be.
