83 years ago, four U.S. Army chaplains made the ultimate sacrifice to save their fellow comrades during WWII.
On Four Chaplains Day, the GLO honors and remembers George L. Fox, Alexander D. Goode, Clark V. Poling, and John P. Washington, who gave up their life jackets and stood firmly with soldiers during the sinking of the USAT Dorchester.
Their heroic legacies will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

As proud Texans, the GLO takes great pride in celebrating our state's beloved symbol of bravery, purity, and loyalty!
