1/3 On Friday dec 24, WISE provided food packages to 125 families in Kabul Afghanistan. WISE volunteers went out to the field to identify families most in need a week prior. The packages consisted of flour, sugar, and cooking oil.

Our team does their best to respect the privacy of our beneficiaries, especially when they are in such a vulnerable situation. However, we understand that we are accountable to all of our generous donors. These are just some stories shared to show the impact of your contributions

We hope to continue supplying food to the most needy in the coming weeks. Gratitude and persistence are truly the only ways to forge ahead in these dark times. We are grateful for our staff, for the opportunity to do this work & of course your support which makes it all possible

While many in the US were gathering over feasts with loved ones this weekend, our incredible WISE staff on the ground distributed food to some of the most vulnerable groups in Afghanistan.Over 150 families in Kandahar received food packages to last through the harsh winter months

At this time, our focus is on providing immediate relief to prevent hunger & starvation. We will continue to provide food that will consist of a one month supply of the following: -Flour -Oil -Sugar -Lentils Our goal is to feed 25,000 Afghans before 2022. Share & spread the word!

We have received many heartfelt messages from all of you and will update you on our ongoing and upcoming activities to help alleviate the humanitairan crisis. At this time we are doing food distributions to feed those at risk of starvation.

We administered high-dosage Vitamin A supplements to 16,400 children in rural Kandahar this month. Our brave @Malalayedu med students administered these doses in Taliban-controlled regions despite a measles outbreak. The #COVID19 pandemic has exacerbated childhood malnutrition.
