Milwaukee Brewers reliever Abner Uribe was suspended for one game by Major League Baseball for crotch-chopping toward the St. Louis Cardinals dugout following a strikeout earlier this week. Uribe is appealing the suspension.

This is just horrible news. I watched a lot of hockey growing up and even collected trading cards. As a Detroiter, we spent a lot of time absolutely hating Claude Lemieux, but he was a heck of a player.

Claude Lemieux died by suicide. He was found on Thursday morning at a business owned by his family. He was 60 years old. Lemieux is survived by his wife and their 4 children. Just a tragic story...

@ArmenSaryan Just FYI, and don’t know if you care or not, he says head and ribs. I was there. He said both. And the coverage at multiple outlets quoted him directly saying and showing us the gesture he made.

Oli Marmol says the #stlcards saw the #Brewers relaying signs from the dugout — and he signaled to the dugout that they needed to “be smart” and he talked to a coach about it.
He spoke to same coach after Uribe gesture and does not want any reactions today.

Marmol said this morning that the Brewers were, in his view, relaying signs too obviously from the dugout in the first game of the series. He gestured to them to be smart and pointed to his ribs, said they were going to get someone hurt. As warning, not instruction.
