At the very end, for a couple of seconds, a completely different video appears - one depicting politicians as animals (Trump as a lion, Biden as a monkey, the Obamas as monkeys, etc.). I don’t think they meant to post that second video at all. It looks like someone screen recorded the first video, and the platform autoplayed the next video in the feed before they stopped recording. Then they were careless and didn’t cut that second video out. This happens to me constantly as a content creator - if you don’t trim your screen recordings using an editor, whatever autoplays next gets tacked onto the end. Try screen recording a video on your phone right now. Watch what happens when it ends. The second video was made by someone who was thoughtless at best and racist at worst. It’s also a random video from the internet. I can’t read minds. But based on what I can see: the most likely explanation is that this was a careless mistake - and the only reason anyone’s seen that one second frame from the video is because it got accidentally tacked onto the end of a screen recording. My original reaction was “wtf?” - same as yours, probably. Then I slowed down, calmed down, did the research, and this is what I found. That said, given the obvious sensitivity of depicting any black person as a monkey - even unintentionally - it’s a good idea for Trump to make a statement taking accountability for careless management of his account. Would be nice to see from a leader.

Americans traded everything you mentioned, all of it, for tolerance & inclusivity when it came to the third world & multiculturalism. Americans traded safety, peace, their way of life, their values, their principles, their culture, their unity, everything good, for the sake of *everyone else* in the world, who don't value any of what Americans value & are turning America into something it was never meant to be. Americans also bowed to the woke horde. That's why *their* ideology dominates in this country, why it's infiltrated every one of our institutions, not ours. Americans are tolerating their own destruction so the people who want it destroyed don't think badly of them. Or so it seems. To say I'm bitter is a vast understatement. I keep getting asked why I'm so angry about repeat-offender crime. This photo is why. I grew up in a country where childhood felt free. Not perfect, free. We hopped on our bikes after breakfast and didn’t come home until the streetlights flicked on. No phones. No “Find My iPhone.” Just a bunch of kids pedaling through the neighborhood, cutting through yards, racing down hills, stopping at a friend’s house because you saw their bike thrown in the grass out front and knew they were home. We went to public pools with a diving board and a high dive. We played soccer in the front yard with whoever happened to be outside. Kids you knew from school, kids you only knew because you saw them every summer riding past your house. Parents talked on the porch, or they didn’t... ...because it was normal to assume your kids would ALWAYS come home in one piece That’s the America I knew. My kids are not growing up in that America. I don’t get to just be “the parent yelling, ‘Be home by dinner!’ I have to be the parent running risk calculations in my head because ALL OF US PARENTS know all the public spaces are no longer safe. There’s no headline for “Another neighborhood kept their kids indoors today.” But that loss is real. It’s a slow, quiet theft of my kids childhood. A childhood I once had, that was beautiful... that they will never know or experience. So when I talk about repeat offenders... when I post the screenshots of their 50+ arrests EVERY DAY... It’s because I want my kids, and your kids, to have what we had. I want the BIGGEST concern at a park to be a skinned knee, not a stabbing. Streets where the sound of bicycles and laughter is louder than sirens or the screams of a drug addict. This is why I won’t shut up about it. I’m not asking for a perfect world. I'm just asking for the radical idea that childhood should be safe enough to look like this picture again.
