I always felt vrchat is VERY diff to other platforms, purely because of the creators n the amount the creators can achieve on the platform!
idk if vrchat is profitable yet but I hope its atleast close, all these collabs, the growing store fronts!

@WispiWoo It was reassuring to read that post today. I kinda needed it.
But I still really wish the VRC userbase wouldn't take everything for granted quite so badly. So many people act like merely using the platform means that VRC owes them something, rather than the other way around.

@WispiWoo Yeah I understand. Only thing you can really do is try and broaden your ToS more. Or you can do what a few creators I’ve seen do and that’s actually register and copyright your creations! Tho it’s kinda pricey >.>

@CatMay0 I dont really.. they uploaded my work and then profited off it, sure the ambiguity of if being able to upload to other platforms is there. But simply, u cannot profit off of work and sell stuff on works u dont own.
and if they didnt accept my TOS they stole it. so more laws broke

@WispiWoo It’s a really tricky situation when it comes to that. Especially because legally you have to prove they accepted your ToS and if it’s just in your description they’re essentially taking advantage of a really shitty loophole. Morally it’s fucked but legally nothing happens >.>

@CatMay0 OMFG ANDDDDDDD, legit EVERYONE of them would delete the credits, those worlds often werent just built by me, erasing the work and the credit of the people who actually made it, lyin and saying u made it, changing the name so it doesnt seme obvious. I genuinely hate these "people"

I think I have enough improvement ideas to make VRC Light Volumes 3.0. But more features means more if's and for's, which increases shader compilation time dramatically. Would be really nice to have global keywords specifically for Light Volumes, which would solve this issue.

@vrc_nuunuu mochies rain shader has a global UV projection option, it will mean that the rain will only work from certain angles, but as long as they are along a single wall direction should work fine ^^
