@sapphicnightowl i agree, but also i actually do that sort of thing for a living. falls under social care so i have had no medical training besides in house stuff the clients family still needs to be as present in their life as possible though if theyre to stand a chance of a dignified life

I don't think anyone without medical training can care for dementia patients. It's insane that society demonizes ppl who put their parents in professional care facilities, a sense of duty to parents doesn't make you an expert capable of dealing with such a devastating illness
