This article is very informative. But it represents something that is being eroded from social work and children in care - the importance of the relationship between a Social Worker and a child/young person. Its importance is massively undervalued amidst a workforce crisis.

Following meetings with members we can confirm, front line Social Work staff working in child protection and Looked After Children services in the @BelfastTrust, will take 3 days of strike action from Wednesday 8th-10th May due to workload pressures and unsafe staffing levels.
