@godotengine That being said, I plan to download @godotengine and check it out soon. You're going to lose your community/customers very quickly @unity. It's not too late to change your mind.

The only good that can come out of this imo is that maybe it'll push more devs to @godotengine which I have avoided due to the community being relatively small. But, if I could choose for any engine to be the most popular one? It would be the open-source language-neutral one.

We are deeply disappointed in @unity's decision to charge developers per-install via a "Runtime Fee". I really don't want to switch engines, but after 10 years of developing in Unity this is the first time I have really considered it. Please don't do this. #unity #gamedev
