@chamojenkins1 @EricFerreri @astros @CrawfishBoxes @AstrosCounty @astrosCTH “Advantage” means a bang occurred, “no advantage” means a bang did not occur. Of the +8,000 pitches in the dataset, ~1,000 had a bang. We compared outcomes from pitches with bangs to outcomes from pitches without bangs.

This surprised me. Research by two psychologist/baseball fans suggest the @astros didn't actually benefit, statistically, from the cheating in 2017. Most batters hit worse in cheating games. bit.ly/3fBIj5q @Crawfishboxes @astroscounty @astrosCTH
