@JanuBuilds@d4m1n@JanuBuilds I know 😅 I hate that I always worry about getting sued for shit like this while for others, it doesn't even cross their minds
I've just fixed churn on Shipixen 😅

Forever 🙈
@d4m1n Well shouldn’t you define that somewhere in your T&C? 😄
also you advertise it as “forever” so that seems a bit longer than the life of the product 😉
@d4m1n ah ok. so maybe there's something to improve. because that's totally not obvious to me from your landing page. I spent literally 5sec on your page thinking "mmhh just another boilerplate"
@wllnuu fair. It's not a boilerplate though, a mix of code gen, templates and some AI content creation.
More for those that don't / won't design stuff. You can generate 100s of different sites from it.
Should be a bit of a moat. SHOULD

only $1.1k in revenue this month with Shipixen.
Last couple months have been brutal.
I am considering to change pricing to allow pay per codebase generation instead of the current license model.
is that a bad idea? 🫣
I am slightly afraid it'll decrease the perceived value of the product.
Here's the current pricing:
$97 for 3 months of App license
$249 for 1 year of App license
With both you can generate infinite codebases and you own the code forever. I still think some people are slightly confused by the model.
I'm thinking to change it to this:
🆕 $17.99 per generation
$249 LTD (instead of 1 year)
This should be an incredibly strong value proposition, as each time you generate a codebase with Shipixen you probably save 10s of hours of your time.
$17.99 is maybe too low. You do get a full boilerplate with it, too. But I really feel strongly about the value proposition of a generation in itself; it saves so much boring work that you could otherwise be spending on the product.
On the other hand, I might be losing $97 - $18 = $79 every time someone generates once vs getting a license.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Pricing is hard.

Worked on improving the submit form for flatwhiteindex.
Added a location search using the "HERE" discover API. Trying to avoid google for this one.
Anyone know of another good alternative to google maps API for getting location information and finding nearby cafes?

But it's not a usual sale.
Customer applied for an affiliate program, and bought Larafast with his own affiliate link to get a 30% back 🙂
Is it fair? Can I reject the applied affiliate referral?
