For reference, he posted 6.0 fWAR in 2019 alone. • This season, he’s been completely unplayable with a 39 wRC+, while currently walking at a 4.2% rate and striking out at a 33.3% clip. Not only should we be talking about moving on from Trevor Story, but we should also put him in the conversation for one of the worst Red Sox contracts in recent memory.

Payton Tolle was promoted to Double-A on June 22nd last year after making his professional debut on April 8th. Anthony Eyanson was promoted to Double-A almost 7 weeks earlier after making his debut on April 4th.
