Trump has proposed a massive 1.5 trillion defence budget for the US in 2027 over 750 billion on which proposed to procure and develop new innovative weapon systems. Wow...

@COYIronscom we’ve been shit for so long I’d argue we at least picked a year to be less shit and win something. A point of view might be that we’re in this predicament due to Europe and having to make s/t squad decisions. Spurs struggling. Let’s see how palace and forest go next season.

Newcastle are 14th but still only 6 points off European football. 6th could still get Champions League next season if Villa win the Europa. The final 4 in Europa consists of Forest (16th), Braga (4th) & Freiburg (7th). We really picked the wrong years to be shit again.

🚨🇪🇸 BREAKING: Spain's PM Pedro Sánchez just called for a common European army. Not in 10 years. Not in 2 years. Now. As soon as tomorrow. NATO is cracking. The US is pulling away. Europe is waking up to the fact that its security blanket is gone. A European army means no more waiting for Washington's permission. No more begging for US troops. No more wondering if Trump will answer the phone. The world just got more complicated. The US just got more isolated. And Europe just took its first real step toward strategic independence. This is not a headline. This is a turning point.

LET'S SEE: They made "Star Trek" for women, black people and gay people: CANCELLED. They made "Doctor Who" for gay people, black people and black gay people: CANCELLED. They made Star Wars for women, gay women and black women: CANCELLED OR FLOPPED. They turned “Captain America” black: FLOPPED. They made “Snow White” for Latina feminists: FLOPPED. They made “The Little Mermaid” black: FLOPPED. They made “Ironheart” for black girls: FLOPPED and CANCELLED. They made “Wonder Man” for black people: FLOPPED. They're making Helen of Troy black: BACKLASH INCOMING. They made Snape black: MASSIVE COMEDY BACKLASH INCOMING! Will they ever get the message?

Darling @EdwardJDavey, Bless your desperately virtuous little heart. How very noble of you to rush to the defence of the Iranian regime while clutching your pearls over “threatening war crimes” and “mocking Islam”. Let me be crystal clear, sweetheart: Mocking Islam is exactly what every single MP in this country should be doing. Islam is a religion that stones women to death for adultery, hangs homosexuals from cranes in public squares, beheads apostates, flogs rape victims for “improper dress”, mutilates the genitals of little girls with rusty blades, forces child brides as young as nine onto grown men, throws gay people off rooftops, beats wives into submission under “discipline” laws, practices polygamy and forced marriage, imposes brutal blasphemy laws that punish criticism with death, treats non-Muslims as second-class dhimmis who must pay the jizya tax or face execution, still openly practices slavery and concubinage in parts of the Islamic world, celebrates the death of infidels, indoctrinates children to hate Jews and Christians, and pours hundreds of billions into global jihad, terrorism, grooming gangs in the West and the deliberate Islamisation of Britain deserves nothing but open ridicule, savage mockery, relentless contempt and unapologetic derision from every single MP sitting in the British Parliament. Now let’s look at you, Davey. This is your previous greatest hits collection, isn’t it, you pathetic, spineless, gutless little absolute wanker of a failure? The man who, as Postal Affairs Minister, sat in his comfortable Whitehall office and coldly ignored hundreds of desperate postmasters begging for help. You dismissed their evidence, you mocked their suffering, you repeatedly defended the rotten Horizon software that you knew was destroying innocent lives. You helped ruin families, bankrupt businesses, and drive people to suicide, all while smiling for the cameras and pretending everything was fine. The same gutless wonder who still can’t bring himself to say whether a woman can have a penis, because your entire party has been captured by the most deranged woke lunacy imaginable. The Lib Dem leader who spent years selling out Brexit, cheering mass immigration, open borders, and every single anti-British policy that has flooded this country. And now here you are a man with a CV of failure longer than most people’s shopping list lecturing the rest of us about strength and morality. How utterly hilarious. Keep performing, darling. The British people see exactly what you are. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

Threatening war crimes and mocking Islam isn't a sign of strength, it's a sign of weakness. The PM should rule out UK forces and airfields being used for any attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure. What more will it take for Starmer to call off the Royal Visit Trump craves?

If they don’t scrap VAR in the face of such overwhelming evidence that fans detest it they have only themselves to blame when interest in football dwindles.
Henry Winter@henrywinter

Premier League fans deliver damning verdict on VAR. 75% of 7,946 fans polled by the Football Supporters’ Association “didn’t support the use of VAR”. Too long, too forensic, too much of a joy killer, fans say. Findings shared with Premier League and PGMO. 92% of fans surveyed “agreed” that “VAR has removed the spontaneous joy of goal celebrations” (82% of them “strongly agreed”). 85% of match-going fans “strongly disagreed” with the notion that “VAR makes watching football more enjoyable”. And 83% of those watching on TV. 85% of match-going fans “strongly disagreed” that “VAR decisions are generally resolved in a reasonable amount of time”. Echoed by 83% of those watching on TV. Only 18% agreed that “VAR has improved the overall accuracy of refereeing decisions”. 72% are “concerned about the expansion of VAR beyond its current remit”. 79% “strongly disagreed” with the suggestion “that the match-going experience is better with VAR”. 67% “strongly agreed” that they preferred “watching games that are played without VAR to games with VAR”. 84% “strongly support” goal-line technology. 34% “strongly opposed” to the idea of a challenge system (two per game per team). “These findings back up the FSA's previous survey in 2021, where fans expressed misgivings about the introduction of VAR,” says Thomas Concannon, @WeAreTheFSAPremier League network manager. “The vast majority are reporting the same concerns five years on - the loss of spontaneity when celebrating goals, and an overall worsening of the match-going experience. We have shared the survey results with the Premier League and PGMO, and look forward to discussing its findings with them.” Fans surveyed of all PL clubs and all ages (Under-18 to 65+).

Says the media man who are all behind it. But I agree it won’t go. Clubs don’t want season ticket holders just fans who come for one game (spend a shed load of cash) and can suffer it.

Yet we will be ignored and will continue to have to suffer. If this was any other product or service needing fee paying customers it would be removed from sale. Those of us that go to matches simply do not want it in any form. Survey season ticket fans with a simple yes or no.

@Hammer_On_X Paqueta is a talented player but it is patently obvious by result since that he had to go. I won’t judge him I what I didn’t see (off the pitch) but what I did was an increasingly liability.
