Yes West Ham are still in the bottom three, and yes they absolutely could still go down. But Nuno Espírito Santo deserves some credit. Nuno Espírito Santo went into that environment five months ago and immediately told his players to be open, not afraid to add their input. He did not go in demanding or with a drill sergeant approach. Instead he created an environment that felt like a team between staff and players. Five months on you can actually see what he was trying to achieve in the spirit and unity that side is showing. Even the principles seen in his first session, where he asked for positive forward thinking actions, you can see clear evidence of it in West Ham’s games in how quickly they transition into attack. Burnley away especially was a masterclass in transitioning with forward thinking mindset. If West Ham stay up, Nuno Espírito Santo will have done an incredible job with a group that looked a sure thing to go down when he walked into it. The value of having players onside is invaluable!!

Following Wolves home and away the last 11 years and only missing a handful of games has been my identity, my escapism, my one true love, hobby and only real passion in this life. But this season, seeing everything I've seen, my mental health has taken a real plummet to the point where I find myself driving 3 hours home with tears in my eyes, being miserable and not wanting to socialise with family or friends. I’m not sure what’s worse the fact that GON has pulled out or Wolves were seriously considering him as an option. Nevertheless, the whole situation is an absolute shambles and a bad look. My mate gave me an analogy today…. It’s like calling a plumber to replace your tap which is knackered, and when the new one needs replacing tell him to put the old one back on 🤣🤣🤣🤣 We are a circus.
