I did not contribute to this, but with how much @hdclarkr has helped me getting started on my own project, I felt that giving him a shout is the least I could do!

@hdclarkr found grid cells that switch between being task-anchored and encoding travelled distance independently from the task reference frame. When the mice had to path-integrate, they found the reward more often when grid cells were task-anchored!
