@JofReddy26 @grok how many failures has falcon 9 had compared to Starship?
English

@David_M_Roth @itskyleconner My battery is 135kwh and I charge at home for $0.20kwh. So, $27 for 300 miles. That’s $0.09 per mile.
Gas car 24 gallons at $4.50. That’s $105 for a full tank. 14mpg get you 336 miles. Sooo $0.31 per mile.
English

@itskyleconner Lol, first off, this SUV is not very efficient. It has a 203kw battery! Wow! Tesla's SUVs require half of that.
Secondly, who pays $.63 per kilowatt. Let me guess... California? 😭
English

It cost $130 to charge the Escalade
Electric cars are great guys!! 😅🤣

Branden Flasch@brandenflasch
@itskyleconner @autelenergy Is this a Charge Smart that's outrageously overpriced?
English

@SawyerMerritt This undersells their accomplishment. New Glenn is the FIRST mission successful landing of a rocket SIGNIFICANTLY larger than Falcon 9.
SpaceX Starship is just as big but they haven’t had a successful mission yet…

@kanekallaway @nickrgrs You must not live in California?

I both moved markets and hired a team of killers before this level.
But agreed, for the highest of end things, consumed daily, this won’t be even close to enough.
I’d argue the highest of end things doesn’t materially move internal happiness after you experience them a few times…this was the main point of the initial post

This may sound tone deaf to some…
After $30K/month net (~$700K/year gross), more money doesn’t matter.
I thought it would, but it doesn’t.
With $30K/month net you can live max comfy in any city.
You can eat wherever, drive whatever, live wherever, travel whenever however wherever, etc.
Price of groceries doesn’t matter. Price of dinner doesn’t matter. Price of vacation doesn’t matter.
Any money above this number is either points (for the ego game) or fuel (to grow other things).
I didn’t believe the “more money doesn’t matter” cap would be so low, but it is.
Once you hit this level, the freedom that comes with it is enormous.
You realize you can play any game, in any way, with anyone.
You also realize that your job becomes finding a forever game that you want to spend your working hours playing.
Because if you are capable of getting to this number, then sitting on a beach for 40 years would be your worst nightmare.
Most importantly, you realize money doesn’t influence internal happiness at all.
It removes all financial stress, but this new “zero-money stress” state quickly becomes your new normal.
The good news is, the “freedom number” you think you need is not actually $6M liquid or whatever the fat fire bros push…it’s just $30K/month net.
You hit that consistently and you’re free rolling forever.

@BLACK1W1 @mikealfred A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that pays returns to earlier investors with money from newer investors.
English

@wolfepacificllc @mikealfred Define what a ponzi is, and by definition, Bitcoin isn't that.
It's 2025. Do better.

@TheCopyCorner @TheJeremyHaynes Excellent question — here are seven options that require no existing brand or skills:

English

@TheJeremyHaynes Chatgpt, here is my skillset and here are my current offers. What the fuck can i sell someone for 50k

@IJustNeedAName1 @chrisbodegard I think devs could save 95% of development time
English

@wolfepacificllc @chrisbodegard I think a lot of devs get caught up in details that the average player would NEVER notice. I’m convinced they could save 10% development time and only “upset” .5% of the player base.

@DavidWehle Here’s a member of the team talking about it: youtu.be/3m_XbodrkLk?si…
Very interesting in hindsight and definitely worth a watch

I love this game, and apparently it was made in a few months...?? Incredible! It's hard for most indies now but it's also like a new golden age of indie success and ease. Best of times, worst of times, etc.
RV There Yet?@RVThereYetGame
🎉 1 million sales in 4 days Thank you so much to everyone who has enjoyed the game this past week! We never thought our lil game jam game would take off like this but it's such a treat to see y'all enjoying it. We're still patching it, so stay tuned for updates. tytytyty!!
English

@DavidWehle It’s a perfect example of not overthinking things as well as not overly marketing a game or trying to go viral on social media. Just make the game, release it, see how it does. Announce it, if it resonates it resonates if it doesn’t, it doesn’t..
