@Dago_Jonez @JeebsTX My previous teslas have taken a month or two before updating off the factory build. So it’s just a waiting game at this point sadly 😢

@Dago_Jonez @JeebsTX On my home network it doesn’t have internet for some reason. It works fine on my works WiFi. Leave the diagnostic page up and if it starts showing download speeds after a few minutes you have internet and should be good. But yeah, WiFi has been iffy on this update.
English

@Dago_Jonez @JeebsTX True 2026.2.200 is what I’ve been stuck on and it’s s awful. I’ve never had a Tesla update this buggy before.
English

@JeebsTX It could be worse. Your car could be stuck on the factory firmware with none of the new updated features and buggy FSD like mine

@malbrecht1992 @SawyerMerritt I don’t think so. I was charged for November and next renewal is December. Normally if we got a free month like with FSD 12 it would show January as the renewal date for me. Maybe I haven’t gotten the promo yet?Willing to bet it’s just people who don’t have it.
English

@SawyerMerritt Is there any clarity yet about how this affects subscribers with HW4? Do we get a free month?

Here is the FSD (Supervised) V14 free trial notification:

Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt
BREAKING: Starting tonight, Tesla is launching a free 30-day trial of FSD (Supervised) V14 in North America for the estimated 1.5 million Tesla owners with HW4 who have not purchased FSD! Owners will receive an email and in-app notification about the trial. The total cumulative miles driven on FSD by Tesla's fleet is about to skyrocket 🚀

@havetorunalot @chuckcook I don’t know if it was misread signs or bad map data, but I’ve experienced the same out here in the Midwest. I guess that’s one of the only good thing about v13s speed profiles tbh was it was hesitant to slow down so speed limits being incorrect wasn’t much of a problem.
English

@chuckcook I’ve had some great intervention-free drives with v14.1.4 so far but it apparently misread road signs on one section of road, setting what was officially a 40 mph limit zone to 20 mph in my car on 3 or 4 occasions. Have you seen that behavior around Jacksonville?
English

It is so great to hear that the wider release of FSD Supervised v14.1.4 is happening. I know it might not have reached everyone yet, but it looks like the advanced button how has a purpose in life again.
Be safe everyone, your responsibility in using this evolving software can change the trajectory of its progress. If you are new to @Tesla FSD, at the request of many followers I made a Safety video a while back. If you feel like you need an instructor for just a few minutes before taking the reins, maybe give this video a look.

@asikunaa @chuckcook I’ve had that happen 2 times so far but I’ve got at least 150+ miles so far with this update. Both times happened the same night on empty city streets. The roads were in bad shape, wonder if that had anything to do with it?
English

@chuckcook chuck, have you noticed harsh braking on 14.1.4?
i had 5-6 harsh braking incidents after in only 25 miles of driving when nothing was in my path
not really brake tapping/stabbing but actual 35mph to 0mph incidents

Thoughts on FSD 14.1.4 so far.
TL;DR Overall it’s a big step up from 13. Decision making and routing is much better. The fact the car can leave my driveway and then park at a location is fantastic. Still needs some polish though as it still has some rough edges and isn’t as smooth as v13. 14.2 will hopefully smooth it out like v13 and make it a huge upgrade. Feels like it’s near perfect for 99% of my driving.
Speed profiles are fantastic now! Love how they’re handled now as chill/standard are exactly what I’d expect and are fantastic. Unfortunately thats overshadowed by incorrect map data or construction zones not removing temp speed limit signs. Chill likes to stay near the speed limit, but if you live in an area where the map has incorrect speed limits like I do, FSD will constantly speed or go way too slow. When it’s right though it’s perfect.
Something I didn’t see talked about much is Auto High Beams being required for FSD now which I’m not a fan of. Might be specific to my model S, but the high beams don’t seem to block out the far left/right part of the high beam. This blinds oncoming traffic when they’re getting close to passing in the left lane. Also, auto high beams don’t react fast enough and don’t see cars that are pretty far away, but where high beams are still annoying to the other driver. I got a service appointment coming up next month so something I’ll ask about there.
I’ve driven around 100+ miles so far, and I’ve had 3 hard phantom breaking events, all on city streets. Not sure what the car saw or why it did it, but it felt like indecision with some break stabbing before making a hard stop. I didn’t see anything that would warrant the stop. There’s also times where you can feel the car loosing confidence and starts freaking out a bit, but It’ll correct itself. Nothing that warrants a takeover if it’s just indecisive, but if there’s someone behind me it’s not safe to let it sort itself out. Feels like v13 before later versions of 13.2. I’m wouldn’t be shocked if it’s all fixed with 14.2 but something to be aware of if you get one of these earlier versions.
Pot hole and object in road avoidance is definitely included, and works pretty well. Sometimes it’s a bit too aggressive on avoiding something or get confused a bit but nothing bad. Glad it’s included now, but dirt roads could use some work. On my dirt road driving, it still doesn’t avoid major potholes still but paved roads it tries to avoid anything that I would which is great.
Highway has been perfect, no issues there yet thankfully and the new speed profiles have made highway driving exactly what I’d expect. Haven’t tested during the day with rush hour traffic, but I’ll be doing that later today. Might have more thoughts then.
I wouldn’t be surprised if most of these things get fixed when 14.2 comes out. If v14 gets a smooth as v13 and that’s the last update my car got, I honestly wouldn’t complain.
