I wish we lived in a world where you were not needed. Until that day, I will continue to fight for our #ChildhoodCancer Warriors & do anything in my power to fight for justice for those who do not have a voice. If you’re with me, leave a ❤️ in comments.

Charlotte's Battle Against Glioblastoma (BAG)
Charlotte’s Brain Tumour Journey 18.2.1997 – 24.2.2016 Diagnosis to death: 951 days 9th February 2016 I woke at 1.30am to be told that Charlotte's feeding tube didn’t seem to be working. It would need to be replaced. By 3.30am she was taken for an X-ray. Not long after that came more bad news. The doctor explained that her right lung had partially collapsed. For the rest of the night Charlotte remained settled and comfortable & the Infusion ran without complication. She is self-ventilating. Her left ear is quite red and there is a blister. They are repositioning Charlotte every four hours to relieve pressure though she makes small sounds, coughing or grunting, when rolled onto her side or when pressure is applied to her upper abdomen . Fortunately she has not needed any additional morphine. charlottesbag.org Charlotte’s Bag is a brain tumour charity with a difference. We are entirely self-funded, which means 100% of every donation goes directly to research in Charlotte’s Lab at King’s College Hospital, London. We also believe you deserve to know where your money goes. That’s why we keep our supporters informed about how donations are spent and the progress being made in the lab. Every pound you give helps fund vital research and brings us closer to better treatments for brain tumours.

Charlotte's Battle Against Glioblastoma (BAG)
Charlotte’s Brain Tumour Journey 18.2.1997 – 24.2.2016 Diagnosis to death: 951 days Age 19 years 5 days January 2016. This was to be our very last outing and meal as a family of four. We thought it would be good to get out into the country and have a meal together. We searched online, knowing we needed somewhere with easy parking and wheelchair access. Many years ago we had been to a beautiful pub in East Dean, so I phoned and reserved a table for the four of us. Charlotte’s speech and coordination were really poor. She knew exactly what was happening and could understand everything we said to her. She needed to get away from home. We took the scenic route and, in fact, managed to get lost in the back of beyond. When we finally arrived, they had booked us a lovely table with plenty of space around it. Charlotte was on a very low-fat diet because of her weight gain and was severely restricted in what she could eat. But she was so poorly that I let her have whatever she wanted and I decided to deal with the consequences later. She adored steak, and it was on the menu, so steak and chips it was. I cut everything into tiny pieces and fed her slowly, carefully, so she wouldn’t choke. She had her beautiful Louis Vuitton Alba with her (Charlotte had sold many items on Ebay in order to buy a new handbag from Louis Vuitton). We stayed for just an hour. As we were getting back into the car, Charlotte raised her arm as best she could, gesturing that she had left her bag inside the pub. I ran back, knowing it would still be there. The pub was almost empty. An elderly couple who had been sitting next to us had retrieved it. I thanked them and said, “My daughter has a brain tumour. Only a month ago she could feed herself.” They said nothing but the look on their faces said everything. charlottesbag.org It would be lovely to get 17,000 followers only 127 to go. We've worked so hard to raise awareness and funding of brain tumours.

More and more Americans are voicing their outrage at the tactics being deployed by federal agents in Minnesota. But it’s important to understand the broader implications of what this administration is doing, and the threat it poses to the basic freedoms of every American.

Charlotte's Battle Against Glioblastoma (BAG)
I never rush my tweets about Charlotte’s brain tumour journey. I want them to be accurate, to do her story justice. But today I can’t write one not because I don’t want to, but because I am so tired. I woke up at 2.00am an hour earlier than normal. My sleep has always been poor, so my days are often 18 hours long. I ran at 5.30am, was at school by 7.15am, faced a full day of assessments and a bereavement session, then finished with a food shop and charity admin. We are a small, self-funding charity. Everything is done by myself or Miles. There is no team behind us. No buffer. No rest. Tonight, exhaustion has won. The final weeks of Charlotte’s life are heavily documented, so her story will continue beyond the anniversary of her passing. Thank you to everyone who supports this account. It truly means a great deal. charlottesbag.org

Charlotte's Battle Against Glioblastoma (BAG)
Missing you, my glioblastoma warrior. 18.2.97 – 24.2.2016 When people look at headstones, they often think the dates of birth and death are what matter most. But it’s the dash in between. That small line holds an entire life: the love, the laughter, the dreams, the courage, the suffering, the joy. Everything that made a person who they were. Charlotte’s life was never small, no matter how short it was. That dash carries more than words could ever hold. charlottesbag.org

Republicans against Trump
Republicans against Trump@RpsAgainstTrump·
Republican Governor of Vermont, Phil Scott: “Enough. It’s not acceptable for American citizens to be killed by federal agents for exercising their God-given and constitutional rights to protest their government. At best, these federal immigration operations are a complete failure of coordination of acceptable public safety and law enforcement practices, training, and leadership. At worst, it’s a deliberate federal intimidation and incitement of American citizens that’s resulting in the murder of Americans. Again, enough is enough. The president should pause these operations, de-escalate the situation, and reset the federal government’s focus on truly criminal illegal immigrants. In the absence of presidential action, Congress and the courts must step up to restore constitutionality.”

This is the last picture with my precious 13 year old Daughter. 💔 Some may wonder why I share these raw, heartbreaking images from the final stages of her fight against brain cancer. The truth is, those memories still shatter me every time I look at them. I hate remembering her in so much pain, so frail, so far from the vibrant girl who once danced through life with endless joy but hiding them would mean hiding part of her truth & Ashley’s story deserves to be told completely, courageously & without apology. Our Ashley was only 11 when the diagnosis came & from that moment, she faced unimaginable suffering with a strength & grace that still leaves me in awe. Through surgeries, radiation, chemo, feeding tubes, lost speech, lost movement, she never stopped shining her love, her hope, her unbreakable spirit. Even when her body betrayed her, her heart stayed so full, so positive, so fiercely alive. ❤️ Ashley didn’t just change my life, she transformed it forever. She opened my eyes to the broken, unjust system that fails too many #ChildhoodCancer Warriors. She showed me how desperately families need better support, better options & real hope. Losing my Ashley broke me in ways I can never fully repair but it also lit a fire in me that burns every single day to fight for change, to honor her legacy & to make sure no other Child or parent has to endure what we did. I can’t carry her voice alone anymore. I need your heart, your support & your voice to help amplify this message & push for the justice these Children deserve. A simple follow will keep Ashley’s light burning bright, will get our story & the stories of so many others heard where it matters most. 🙏🏻 If you’ve ever loved a Child, imagine losing yours to something that could have been fought better. Please stand with me. Fight for the voiceless & hold space for the brokenhearted. Let’s make sure no more precious lives are cut short without every possible chance. 🩷 Ashley Marie Moore 🩷 #Forever13

So Farage gets away with not declaring his earnings on time. Yet when it was Angela Rayner she was dragged for weeks and called to resign. What about when Hunt “forgot” to declare he owned 7 high end apartments, or Zahawi “forgetting” to pay £3m in taxes? I could go on forever about men making “mistakes” but when a woman does it, her career is over. And they say we don’t live in a patriarchy. Yeah shut TF up.

If I could have just one more day with you…💔💔💔 I would hardly speak. I would simply listen to your voice and commit every tone of it to memory until it became my favourite melody. I would look at you. I would study your eyes and your mouth, and I would learn every angle, every pane of your face until I could see you perfectly with my eyes closed. I would hold your hand in mine. I would trace all the lines on your palm until they became a trail – a map - that I could retrace on my own palm every time I felt lost. I would soak you up and breathe you in until there was not a single thing that I could not recall at a moment’s notice. But more than anything, if I had one more day with you, I would hold you. I would hold you so tight, hoping that maybe if I didn’t let you go… You wouldn’t. Yes, if I had just one more day with you, I would hope… I would hope so hard… that you wouldn’t have to leave again. 🩷 Ashley 🩷 #Forever13
