Top 4'd chally w/ a new 1U card that's changing up Doomsday... Paradigm Shift (if you need me to be DDay player #10 or w/e to tell you Flow State is good... uh... sure, Flow State good. I'm liking the look of these Japanese lists that have Flow States split with PT or in the SB).

T8'd Sunday challenge w/ BUG + Frenzy tech. The spell infinite lets you combo through UW Flash's Stifles, but then I misplayed against it g1 when I finally paired into it in t8 and then got some poorly lined-up draws the next game. Shelving this as Flow State comes out next week.

@Darthdog90 1st one's beem fine, 2nd was in case Engi/Cam or Storm were in vogue, but that was likely just wishful thinking. You could make them + Nihil slots Voidwalkers in some proportion, but, having an extra angle to harass Squelcher decks on their mana and their payoffs has been good.

Threw QF match in the RCQ after a 7-0/14-0 start to get 1st in Swiss, losing myself an invite off basically 1 turn. Oh well, I'll get'em next time. Deck worked pretty well, 3-2 against UB Tempo, and that's with me throwing so I'd say the MU is pretty ok. Beat 4 other misc. decks.

4-0 in the Legacy Challenge, same list as last week, M5G3T1 I crack a fetch and MODO crashes. I cannot get back into the game, it keeps crashing. GGs, I guess.

Split Sunday chally finals w/ Tempo DDay. Between work going crazy / no BnR changes I haven't had a lot of time / energy to play, so went off the deep end a bit to feel something. The deck was good, though, and went about as planned. Don't try to draw 1/2 your library against me.

Somewhat blursed top8 at the Friday challenge, pretty easy first 4 rounds, and then a lot of bad beats to go 4-0 into 4-3 QF knockout. Liked the balance of this list, but, ofc, no way to know what is coming next week.

@BrunoEars You loop mana cards, Collective Brutality’s life drain, and another DDay to re-pile the first to go infinite. Ignores OBM, Dress Down, Pyroblast, and Endurance, and very often beats Consign.

Won my last Legacy Challenge of 2025 w/ "Festive" tech'd Doomsday. Sadly, circumstances never lined up for the Frenzy infinite, but I did get some good Veil-ue against 3 UBx tempo decks. With more Affinity than Forge lately, likely shoud've swapped Consign for Crime // Punishment

T4'd rare 7-rd challenge, KOd by @roodslay, unbowed by bans. W/o UB Rean to soft-ban creatures, tried out a pivot SB; mapped a bit too stilted for me, and Kaito probably can't move the needle enough for UR, though I did split matches there. Won 2 Eldrazi matches... and 2 mirrors

T4'd the FNM challenge. Didn't play too well, unfortunately, but the deck kinda carried. Had some slight tweaks to try against UR but then never paired into it. Not too much to say on BnR-eve-weekend; might have more to do next week, might not, will still keep reg'ing Dark Rit.

Decided to get up early and play the RCQ with some stock Turbo DDay, my luck ran out in the last round of swiss... and then in t8, fell just short of qualifying... List was good, liked ~73.5/75, beat UB Rean x3 and Forge x2, Nadu as well, just couldn't get there against UR twice.

@nao_445745DD Mainly you rely on high speed to race the damage, though UR can severely punish below avg hands. Cards like Barrowgoyf would be good, but it's hard to justify the SB space since they're almost only good in that MU.

Out at Eternal Weekend last week, it was great to meet up with so many friends / former opponents, best reason to go by far. Sadly, squandered another EW main with garbage paper play, though I was really cooking with this Doomsday list. Also picked up a trial 5-0 w/ Pitch Black.

@hARAIN_MTG For nonblue MUs, the opponent often gets a postboard game OTP to tunnel to their cringe openers of Tomb -> Chalice / Flute or Scrubland -> Seize / Therapy. Chancellor covers that in a more card-economically way than Force and synergizes w/ Brainstorm + LED piles.

@pnh871 For Predict and Bauble, they open up some variations in Doomsday piles, but, more relevantly, improve the use of Tamiyo and provide card advantage depth against UB Reanimator's discard spells. Notably, this build is slanted towards UB game 1 at the expense of non-blue matchups.

@pnh871 The Narcomoeba is tech for Kozilek's Command. For 1UU, a pile of Predict / Narcomoeba / blue mana / Thassa's Oracle / blue mana beats a single Command at any timing or modes.
