Ho incontrato il Presidente della Camera dei Deputati, Lorenzo Fontana, con il quale ho avuto un proficuo scambio di opinioni sull’ampliamento degli scambi interparlamentari tra i nostri due Paesi, nonché sulle possibili forme di cooperazione in vari ambiti, tra cui le tecnologie avanzate, la collaborazione economica e le politiche sociali. Abbiamo condiviso in particolare l’importanza di rafforzare ulteriormente la cooperazione nei settori che incidono direttamente sulla vita dei cittadini, mettendo a fattor comune esperienze e competenze. Ho inoltre chiesto una costante attenzione e un continuo sostegno alle imprese coreane attive in Italia e ai nostri connazionali residenti all’estero. Il Governo della Repubblica di Corea continuerà a impegnarsi affinché tutti i nostri cittadini che vivono e lavorano lontano dalla madrepatria possano operare in un ambiente sicuro e stabile. 안토니우 코스타 EU 정상회의 상임의장님 @eucopresident 께서는 축구를 무척 사랑하신다고 들었습니다. 각자 맡은 포지션은 다르지만 결국 가장 중요한 것은 좋은 팀워크라는 점에서 축구와 외교는 비슷한 점이 참 많은 것 같습니다. 남다른 열정으로 업무에 임하시는 우르술라 폰 데어 라이엔 EU 집행위원장님 @vonderleyen 을 뵙는 만큼 저도 평소보다 더 부지런히 준비하고 있습니다. 승마와 조깅을 즐기신다고 들었는데, 역시 체력도 좋은 리더십의 덕목이라는 생각이 듭니다. 복잡한 국제정세 속에서 대한민국과 유럽연합이 신뢰와 연대를 굳건히 하며, 함께 더 나은 해법과 미래를 만들어갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하고 오겠습니다. I’ve heard that President António Costa @eucopresident is a passionate football fan. In both football and diplomacy, everyone plays a different position, but in the end, success depends on strong teamwork. There may be more similarities between the two than we think. I’m also looking forward to meeting President Ursula von der Leyen @vonderleyen who is well known for her tireless work ethic. I understand that she enjoys horseback riding and jogging—reminding us that stamina is an essential quality of leadership. Inspired by her example, I have been preparing even more diligently for this visit.
