오늘 프라보워 수비안토 인도네시아 대통령과 첫 통화를 가졌습니다. 인도네시아는 인구 약 2.8억 명의 아세안 최대 경제 대국으로, 2,300여 개 우리 기업이 진출해 있는 핵심 협력국입니다. 양국은 신뢰와 우정을 토대로 특별 전략적 동반자 관계를 발전시켜 왔으며, 저와 프라보워 대통령은 급변하는 대외환경 속에서 오랜 친구이자 전략적 파트너인 양국 간 협력 강화 중요성에 뜻을 함께 했습니다. 우리 신정부 출범을 계기로 양국 관계가 한층 더 도약할 수 있도록 인도네시아와 긴밀히 협력해 나가겠습니다. I had the first phone call with the President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia. Indonesia, the largest economy in ASEAN with a population of 280 million, is one of Korea’s key partners. The Special Strategic Partnership between our two countries has developed on the foundation of mutual trust and friendship. Amid a rapidly changing global environment, President Prabowo and I shared our common vision to further strengthen our bilateral cooperation as longstanding friends and strategic partners.
Older generation Koreans who have lived through dictatorships and martial laws are in disbelief that this could happen again, in 2024.
