There is a power outage that has affected multiple cities in the state. Casper was out for several minutes across the city, but it seems to be restored now. @RMP_Wyoming is reporting outages affecting more than 54,000 customers.

On such a tragic day in Minnesota, it's also a reminder of the importance of local journalism. The local TV stations had coverage all day. Writers/Journalists worked for hours, and are still working, to provide information to the public. It's not an easy task. And it matters.

Assassinations of U.S. politicians in the 21st Century are almost unprecedented. The only other U.S. politicians to be killed in the 21st Century are a NC State Senator (nearly exactly a decade ago), a diplomat in 2012, a Kirkwood Mayor in 2008 and a NY City Councilman in 2003

Devastating Lime scooter news for UMN riders: Campus and surrounding areas are now geolocked. Lime scooters will not function at all within the red zone. Will this result in more or less scooters being thrown into the river? Time will tell.
